Houdini’s Torture Cell is a puzzle by Australian designer Brian Young.

The aim is to free ‘Houdini’ from his cell. This is a sequential discovery puzzle where you will find tools along the way to help you through each step.

A design taken from one of the locks on the incredibly complex The Opening Bat puzzle which featured the same mechanism. This has now been produced at scale to allow for an affordable version of a great puzzle.

The Torture Cell was a performance by the famous magician and escapologist Houdini, first shown at Circus Busch in 1912.

Houdini’s Torture Cell measures 80mm high by 35mm wide.

The puzzle comes in a plain white box and does include step by step instructions.

Shipping within the UK should take 24-48 hours from dispatch (excluding weekends).
