A traditional Japanese Puzzle box that is made by hand. It comes from the studio of Hiroyuki Oka of Japan.
This impressive box is large at 7 sun, the system of measurement used for these boxes. It is 8.6 x 6.25 x 4.5 inches externally with a large storage compartment inside.
To open the box it takes 9 steps, and once you play with the box you appreciate how intricately it is made.
The yoesgi artwork on the outside of these boxes uses a traditional method that requires years of apprenticeship to learn.
