The Soma Cube is a classic puzzle, created in 1936 by Danish mathematician Piet Hein.
Made up of seven pieces, there are 240 ways to make up the 3 x 3 x 3 cube. Once you have played around with the standard cube solutions you can attempt so of the other many shapes that are possible with the pieces.
This medium sized model is made from Rubberwood and has a lovely feel to it.
It comes in a nice wooden box and included is a solution sheet with 60, 3-D shapes that can be made.
