This morning it gave me real pleasure to send away what is so far our biggest ever single donation to charity.
Over the Black Friday weekend instead of offering discounts or spurious offers we decided to pledge 10% of all sales to charity. This year we decided to give to Helen Keller Int'l. They'd come to our attention for their high level of effectiveness, meaning they put the money received to work in actual projects more than other charities.
It's easy to feel like things are tough or unfair at times but I find taking a minute and zooming out really helps to put things into perspective and I realise, actually life is pretty great for me. So hopefully we've just managed to make a real difference to some people less fortunate than ourselves this week.
Of course none of this could have been possible without you our customers actually choosing to shop with us! So we wanted to say thank you. We seriously mean it as well, selling puzzles for a living is a real pleasure and as a small business there are ups and downs but the continued support we see really keeps us going.
