The Cast Ring II puzzle from Hanayama is based on a type of puzzle that dates back to at least the 15th century.
It consists of five rings which you must try and seperate and then put back together.
Rated 5 out of 6 on the Hanayama star difficulty scale.

This is not really a ring, as when assembled it doesn’t hold particularly well together and ‘unsolves’ itself rather rapidly. We’d hardly say this is a 5 out of 6 (or 8 out of 10) puzzle, as even at this premise it is too easy to solve. This being said, it is a nice little puzzle and could still be satisfying for someone looking for a bit less of a challenge. The material quality is good, although unfortunately the puzzle is not ‘finger ring ‘ size (3.5 cm diameter).
