Hanayama Zelda Addison Sign Puzzle

The Addison Shield puzzle is one of the Zelda series of puzzles from Hanayama and as Grandmaster in level of difficulty.

You are provided with a sign and some extra pieces, on it's own the sign will tip over. The aim is to try and use the extra pieces to make the sign stand on it's own. The character is only for display pieces and not be used in the solution.

We have found this puzzle to be very confusing with several possible 'solutions' that you can find although it is hard to tell what the intended method is.
