Impossible Joint

This puzzle has dovetails on four sides. At first glance it seems like it would be impossible to seperate the two halfs.

That is the aim and the solution is a clever one.

This puzzle dates back over 100 years. The first reference being found in the Woodworking magazine from 1902.
