Impossible X Puzzle

The Impossible X is an interesting looking wooden puzzle. The aim is to remove the wooden square from the 'X' and at first glance it looks impossible, the square clearly won't fit!

A relatively simple idea that will be familiar to seasoned puzzlers but may stump beginners.
