Japanese Puzzle Box - 4 Sun - 21 Step

A traditional Japanese Puzzle box that is made by hand.

This box is 4 sun, the system of measurement used for these boxes and has a fair sized storage compartment inside.

To open the box it takes 21 steps, so a few more moves required than other boxes we stock. Once you play with the box you appreciate how intricately it is made.

The yoesgi artwork on the outside of these boxes uses a traditional method that requires years of apprenticeship to learn.
