Japanese Puzzle Box - 4 Sun 18 Steps - Yosegi/ Ichimatsu

This is a really nice mid-sized Japanese puzzle box, handmade in Japan.

The puzzle box requires 18 moves to open it and if you are familiar with how Japanese puzzle boxes work it shouldn't be very tricky but if you have not come across them before it might take a while.

The beautiful Yosegi marquetry is featured on the top panel of the box and the pattern is created purely from different colours of wood. The sides feature Ichimatsu and the bottom is a natural wood finish.

The box has a storage space on the inside which could be used to store small valuables or an extra gift for someone.

Measured in the traditional Sun sizing this puzzle box measures 4 Sun which is a mid-sized box.

Comes with a cardboard presentation box with the solution included.
