Japanese Puzzle Box - 6 Sun 18 Steps - Yosegi/ Ichimatsu

This is a wonderful, large sized, traditional Japanese puzzle box. Measuring 6 Sun following the sizing of these boxes it is one of the largest we carry.

Inside is a good sized storage space and in order to find it there are 18 steps you must complete. Not overly difficult if you are familiar with the mechanisms of these boxes but it can be tricky if you've not come across them before.

On the top panel is some beautiful Yosegi marquetry which is created by assembling different coloured natural woods to create an intricate pattern and then shaving off a veneer.

The 6 Sun Japanese puzzle box comes with a nice presentation box and includes the solution if needed.
