Karakuri Tamate Puzzle Box

The Tamate puzzle box by the Karakuri Creation Group is a simple but beautiful puzzle box. With a string running through the bottom half of the box it looks like it should just open normally but of course it doesn't! 

This puzzle box has an interesting mechanism which shouldn't take too long to discover. Once you open it, there is a reasonable amount of storage space inside, roughly 68 x 95 x 34mm.

Made from Zelkova wood, as always the Tamate box is a beautifully made piece by Karakuri and measures 120 x 93 x 58mm.
