Designed by renowned puzzle designer Dr. Volker Latussek, Less Is More by Pelikan Puzzles may look like a traditional 7×7 packing puzzle at first glance, but this beautifully crafted brain teaser combines mathematics, logic and precision craftsmanship to create a surprisingly challenging puzzle experience.

The initial goal is to arrange the nine pentomino pieces inside the wooden frame so that every piece is completely locked in place and cannot slide in any direction.

Can you then remove one pentomino while keeping the remaining eight pieces locked in place? What about removing another, and another, while maintaining the anti-slide property? You can also explore smaller configurations where pieces cannot be added or removed without breaking the solution.
