Description
Napier's Bones is the name given to a fantastic device created by Scottish Mathematician John Napier in 1617.
In essence it was the first calculator and allows users to easily simplify complex multiplication. It was in common use for nearly 300 years and while most of use now carry a calculator in our pocket there is something very satisfying about using Napier's Bones and it is good for teaching as well.
This set comes with two full sets of rods from 0-9 and allows for a wide range of calculations to be performed. It comes in a neat box with lid to store everything in.
